Today marks the 4th anniversary of when I started the keto diet. So far I have lost around 80 lbs by eating under 50 grams of carbs and around 100 gram of fat. Not just any fat… saturated fat from things like bacon and eggs. Yum! When I tell people about my diet or in this case, my lifestyle, they think I’m crazy. It’s kind of sad actually that I have to argue and prove myself to others who just follow conventional nutritional advice and never lose the weight permanently. They think it’s some sort of fad diet but they couldn’t be more wrong. Eating less carbs and sugar is undoubtedly the key to a successful and healthy life. I can vouch for that.
